Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed confidence that the youth of Ghana will maintain the peace and stability of Ghana before, during, and after the 2024 General elections.

He observed that the youth have always demonstrated peace in their affairs and hence will continue in that behaviour.

The flagbearer of the New Patritoc Party (NPP) wrote this on Facebook after serving as the reviewing officer at the 70th anniversary of the National Cadet Corps & Cadet Youth Parade at the Black Star Square today.

“I underscored the significant role the Cadet plays and made the advocacy that it is time for various security agencies to take a critical look at unearthing brilliant talents from the National Cadet Corps and other sister volunteer youth groups by giving them some quota and the opportunity when it comes to recruiting and enlisting into the various security services.

“I also expressed confidence that the youth of Ghana as they have done in the past will maintain the peace and stability of Ghana before, during, and after the 2024 General elections,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
