President John Mahama joined thousands of Muslims at the Black Star Square in Accra to observe this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebrations on Monday, March 31.



The event, held at the iconic venue, saw Muslims from across the Greater Accra Region and beyond gathering in beautiful attire.


Traditional leaders from the Ga Traditional Area also attended the ceremony.




In his address, President Mahama urged Muslim folks to prioritise peace and unity, emphasising the importance of embracing education and actively contributing to the nation’s development.
