Italian club Fiorentina bid farewell to Alfred Duncan as his four-year tenure with the team comes to an end.
The 31-year-old Ghanaian midfielder’s contract expired this week, making him available as a free agent for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Duncan leaves Fiorentina holding the record for the most Serie A appearances by a Ghanaian international, totaling 304 matches. He joined the club in August 2022 and has since been a consistent presence in their midfield lineup.
Fiorentina and Duncan have mutually agreed to part ways following the conclusion of his contract. The midfielder now sets his sights on securing a new club for the next phase of his career.
During his time with Fiorentina, Duncan made 126 appearances across various competitions, scoring six goals and providing valuable contributions to the team’s campaigns.
