Asake emerges as most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify Nigeria – MyJoyOnline

Singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has emerged as the most-streamed artist on Spotify Nigeria.

The streaming giant recently released the top 5 most-streamed artists of all time in Nigeria to mark the 5th anniversary of its operations in the country.

Asake topped the list, followed by Wizkid and Seyi Vibez at numbers 2 and 3, respectively.

Burna Boy came fourth while Davido took the fifth position.

The global streaming giant also unveiled the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify Nigeria.

Asake also topped the list with his song ‘Remember’ occupying the at number 1 spot.

Ayo Maff and Fireboy’s ‘Dealer’, Fido’s ‘Awolowo’, Wizkid’s ‘Kese’ and Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ are ranked at numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively.

Nigerian songs also dominated the list of the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify Kenya with Ruger’s ‘Asiwaju’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’, Fireboy’s ‘Bandana’ and Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ ranking at numbers 1, 2, 3, and 5, respectively.

Kenyan singer Bein’s hit song ‘Inauma’ took the 4th position.

On Spotify Ghana, ‘Wotowoto Seasoning’ by Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck featuring Ghanaian star Black Sherif topped the list of the most-streamed songs of all time.

Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ ranked second, while the third, fourth and fifth positions were occupied by Black Sherif’s songs.
