The Black Queens of Ghana have successfully progressed to the third stage of the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifiers after defeating Benin with a score of 2-0 in Accra.
Evelyn Badu scored the first goal for Ghana in the 65th minute.
Later, continuous pressure on the Benin defence led to an own goal, securing Ghana’s second goal.
With a total aggregate score of 5-0, the Black Queens have now qualified for the third stage after their 3-0 victory in the first leg.
The stage is now set for the Black Queens to face Zambia in the third round of the qualifiers in February of next year, competing for a spot in the fourth and final round.
