Healthcare provider, Cassona, has congratulated President John Mahama for the work done so far and Ghana for achieving its 68th Independence Anniversary.
According to the firm, Ghana has proven its tradition of peaceful co-existence, respect for the will of the people, business stability and a shining example that democracy works by deeds and not by words.
“We have a lot to celebrate this year. Once again, Ghana has proven its tradition of peaceful co-existence, respect for the will of the people, stability and a shining example (to the world entire) that democracy works by deeds and not by words”.
John Chigbu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Cassona Global Imaging Ltd. Said “My wife and I came to these shores three years ago to introduce Cassona as a healthcare solutions company. Our primary goal was, and continues to be, working with people who have dedicated themselves to this country and to help usher in our modern healthcare system, in a patriotic way; thus, nudging our country towards medical and healthcare independence”, it added.
Through the few years the founder has spent in Ghana, Mr, Chigbu said he has realised Ghana can be the country with the best healthcare system in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
“Cassona came into Ghana as a transplant from the United States. But I am a Ghanian by blood because my mother was born in Accra, Ghana. She was the person that taught me the generous spirit of this country, which welcomes everyone with open arms.”
Since 2022, he said his commitment to the corporate goal has never wavered despite all the challenges. As a team, he explained that they have dedicated themselves to creating sustainable healthcare solutions, providing healthcare professionals and facilities with access to the necessary and essential medical diagnostic equipment/tools and supporting it with affordable prices and payment plans.
Cassona to Open New Operational Headquarters
Looking forward to this year, the Chairman said Cassona is about to open its new operational headquarters for the Sub-Saharan Africa Region in Accra by June 2025. The new location would house its administrative and sales offices.
In addition, the firm is adding a fully equipped diagnostic center and a medical professional training cente.
To further support Ghana and the West Africa region, Cassona plans to offer hands-on training to doctors, radiologists and medical professionals on the use of modern healthcare tools.
“As a returned son who fought my way up the ladder in the United States, I hope to help the young people to acquire practical healthcare skillsets in our own country and to serve our motherland here at home. As always, Cassona will continue to support the community”, the founder added.
To our University Medical Schools, “We would wish to offer free hands-on clinical training workshops to students on a regular basis to ensure that as many as possible would be able to participate”, Mr.Chigbu concluded.
