Freight Forwarder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sel Logistics Services, Dr Faith Selasie Dunyo has been crowned Ghana’s Most Outstanding Personality in Freight Forwarding at the just-ended Business Executive Excellence Awards 2024 held in Accra.
The prestigous award reflects his stunning leadership qualities and exceptional dedication to providing quality freight forwarding, local customs clearance and logistics services in the country and beyond and also for being extremely respected personality advocating for best business practices in the sector.
The awards event which is in its 10th year and was held on Friday, June 28th, seeks to identify and publicly recognise private enterprises, public institutions and individuals that have displayed exemplary conduct and chalked extraordinary accomplishment with regards to their business activities over the previous year.
For Dr Dunyo, the award is a testament to his team’s unwavering focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations while adhering to rigorous quality standards over the years.
Speaking to journalists, he aid the award means a lot to his consistent determination to build a formidable and proficient brand.
According to Dr Dunyo, the award demonstrates his stunning hard work over the past years.

Dr Dunyo who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Central Tongu Constituency Secretary used the opportunity to call on Ghanaians to vote for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the December polls.
He said the paperless system introduced by Dr Bawumia has contributed significantly to efficient and fast clearance and has cut the cost of doing business at the various ports in Ghana.
Dr. Dunyo also appealed to Ghanaians, especially those at the freight forwarding industries, exporters, and importers to consider Dr Bawumia’s vision to introduce the flat rate tax system on imported goods to reduce the higher customs duty to retain importers in business.
He also urged the entire NPP membership to accept and support whoever Dr Bawumia’s choice of a running mate to enable the party break the eight to retain power in the 2024 general election.

Dr Dunyo has been in the logistics and freight forwarding industry since 2009 (over 15 years) and acquired professional knowledge and experience in operational activities, implementation of management systems, and business plans.
He is a highly motivated and results oriented personality, dedicated, and focused professional with much experience in freight forwarding businesses comprising of clearing and forwarding, local customs clearance, logistics, and transport of cargo.
He aims to develop the theoretical and practical knowledge in supply chain environment, optimising his skills in the area of transportation of goods and services (imports and exports), logistics, local customs clearance, warehousing and other related corporate and functional strategic management.
Currently, he is the CEO and managing director of SEL LOGISTICS SERVICES Ghana Ltd, a global logistics group with its Head Office in Tema and offices in Accra Airport (KIA), Aflao border, and Lome, Togo.
The company provides the full scope of logistics services, including air and ocean freight, export and import, overland transportation by road, warehousing and distribution, third-party logistics, and supply chain management.
Their speciality is in providing logistics solutions for project cargo, commodities (agro and mining), exhibitions, and events.
Moreover, Dr Dunyo is also the founder and the CEO of SEL POULTRY FARMS AND TRADING ENTERPRISE, DUSA FARMS, and DENSELA TRANSPORT VENTURES.
Dr Dunyo is the current Constituency Secretary and the immediate passed parliamentary candidate aspirant for the people of Central Tongu Constituency, Adidome in the Volta Region.
