Ghanaian youngster Caleb Yirenkyi is among the nominees for March’s Young Player of the Month award in the Danish Super League.

The FC Nordsjaelland midfielder has been one of the budding talents in the league since its resumption after the turn of the year.

Yirenkyi has been a pillar in the middle of the park for Nordsjaelland as they chase a strong end to the 2024/24 season.

The 19-year-old featured in all four games for the club last month, scoring his debut goal in the process. His first goal for the club came during the 3-1 home win over Vejle.

Despite only being introduced into the team for the second half of the campaign, Yirenkyi has been a constant figure and continues to make a name for himself at the Right to Dream Park.

The Ghanaian is a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy before featuring for Nordsjaelland’s youth team and eventually gaining promotion to the senior team.

He’s running for the award alongside Midtyjyland’s Pedro Bravo, Victor Froholdt, Noah Nartey, Yonis Njoh and Ousmane Diao.
