Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has disclosed that he started his ride-hailing company, Shaxi, with an investment of more than $2 million.
During a live session with his followers, the musician revealed his reason for starting the business which he said is his desire to support people and create career opportunities.

He disclosed that instead of indulging in personal luxury with the over $2 million, he chose to establish a business to see other succeed.
“That is why I want t make extra money and support otherwise why should I establish a business. That over $2 million that I used to open my Shaxi business, by now I should be enjoying with that money.
“I could have bought Rolls Royce, Lamborghini,” Shatta Wale said.

Shatta Wale noted that the significant investment covered various aspects of the business, including app development, the purchase of multiple mini cars, and overall promotion.
Shatta said that despite his persona, he is a loving person who deserves to be treated with kindness.
