Ing. Julius Kpekpena
Ing. Julius Kpekpena has been appointed as the acting Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
He takes over from Ing. David Asamoah.
A statement issued by Ing. Asamoah wished incoming Managing Director, Ing. Kpekpena well and pledged to support him.
Ing. Kpekpena was the Director of Engineering at ECG before moving to the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA).
He is expected to improve the revenue of ECG and reduce losses in the operations of the power distributor.
In addition, he will assist government’s move to privatize some parts of ECG to make its operations efficient.
