Police prosecutors in the case against actor Lil Win have told the Asokore Mampong District Court that they are seeking guidance from the Attorney General’s Office.

Prosecutors told the court on Thursday, June 27 that the docket has been forwarded to the office of the Attorney General for advise.

The case has been adjourned to July 29. Lil Win was granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the court after he was arrested by police on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The actor was arrested on the morning of Monday, June 3 shortly after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital.

His arrest is in connection with an accident that occurred on Saturday, May 25 which had claimed the life of a three-year-old boy. The accident took place hours to the premiere of his movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana.’

Lil Win charged with dangerous driving, negligently causing harm

According to eyewitnesses, Lil Win was driving at a top speed when his vehicle collided with the victim’s car causing the accident.

The Family of the deceased three-year-old has since demanded that justice be served to the actor causing the death of their beloved son.

Another victim, the father the deceased three-year-old boy is also receiving treatment for a fractured leg.
