With over 80 years of experience as a leading ignition and sensor specialist, the company underscores the significance of quality, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable parts in the market. It calls on auto industry stakeholders to distribute authentic ignition parts and vehicle electronics.
At the inauguration of the company’s trusted programme in Accra, aimed at curbing the prevalence of counterfeit products in the market, Skander Kadri, the Senior Territory Manager for Niterra After Market, underscored the pressing need for industry participants to allocate time and resources to combat the increasing issue of substandard and counterfeit auto parts.
“NGK here is, well known but, unfortunately, here there is, some doubts on the quality of NGK. Why this doubt is coming? Because there is no real, understanding about the difference between the counterfeit and genuine. That’s why we will create and we will support now by putting this programme to show to the people that you will find the trusted retailer, you will find the trusted mechanics where you can get your parts. And even for the mechanics, it will be very easy to them to identify the source of the genuine.”
“As you may know also, not only here in many markets there is a lot of counterfeit, okay, and that’s why our company, they choose to support the end user in Ghana to choose the genuine parts for their cars,” he stated.
Daisuke Watanabe, the Managing Director of Niterra, encouraged the public to support Niterra products and reaffirmed the company’s dedication to manufacturing genuine ignition parts and vehicle electronics.
