Voting has commenced at 19 polling stations across the Ablekuma North Constituency, where the Electoral Commission (EC) is conducting a rerun to decide the winner of the disputed parliamentary seat.
Both parliamentary candidates, Ewurabena Aubynn of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been spotted at various polling centres, engaging with voters and monitoring the process. The exercise has so far been peaceful and orderly.
