Vote transfer exercise: NDC requests list of security personnel on special duties

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has formally requested the list of security personnel assigned to special duties for the upcoming Voter Transfer exercise.

The exercise is set to take place from July 3rd to July 5th, 2024.

In a letter addressed to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, the General Secretary of the party, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, emphasized the party’s commitment to ensuring transparency and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.

The NDC General Secretary stated that the presence and deployment of security personnel are crucial components in the smooth conduct of elections.

Having access to this information will enable the NDC to adequately prepare and collaborate with the relevant authorities to safeguard the electoral process.

He assured the Chairperson that the requested information, due to its sensitive nature, will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely to ensure a transparent and fair electoral process.
