Ghanaian music label, WeWrite Records has signed a mega management deal with up-and-coming Afrobeat artiste Arina.
The deal was signed at a press announcement held at the office of WeWrite Records in Accra on Monday, July 1, 2024.
Even though WeWrite Records refused to give more details including contract duration, GhanaWeekend is told the deal will last less than 10 years.
Delivering his acceptance speech, Arina indicated that he accepted the WeWrite Records contract because it’s ‘enticing’.
“Honestly, this kind of signing rarely happens in our country. It’s very difficult to find this level of support that can help artists, create more job opportunities, and elevate artists to a level that Ghanaians can be proud of. I was impressed by the work behind the scenes at WeWrite Records during my time in the studio and other engagements. I’m fully committed to working hard to ensure the success of this deal.”
The CEO of WeWrite Records, Clement H. Holloway, a distinguished Ghanaian Businessman, Sales Consultant and Writer on his part said:
” We are committed to professionally producing impeccable creative works that would be domestically intriguing and also transcend borders. We firmly believe that quality creative work can be produced and made successful without lowering societal moral standards in a quest for commercial appeal.”
Known in real life as Tetteh Emmanuel Korda, Arina’s yet-to-be-released singles were exclusively premiered at the press announcement.
