Chelsea have completed the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for £30 million.
The 25-year-old Foxes academy graduate has inked a six-year contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2030, reuniting him with manager Enzo Maresca.
Dewsbury-Hall’s transfer was finalised before Sunday’s Premier League profit and sustainability rules (PSR) deadline, aiding Leicester in complying with financial guidelines.
“It is amazing to be sitting here as a Chelsea player,” said Dewsbury-Hall. “This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here.”
The midfielder will reconnect with Maresca, who joined Chelsea this summer after leading Leicester to the Championship title last season.

Dewsbury-Hall had an outstanding campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists in 44 league games, earning him the titles of Leicester’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season.
Dewsbury-Hall becomes Chelsea’s fourth summer signing, following defender Tosin Adarabioyo’s free transfer from Fulham, midfielder Omari Kellyman’s £18 million move from Aston Villa, and teenage forward Marc Guiu’s £5 million arrival from Barcelona.
Enzo Maresca replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea’s manager at the end of the season. The Argentinean led Chelsea to a sixth-place finish and secured a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League despite a poor start to the season.
The addition of Dewsbury-Hall is expected to bolster Chelsea’s midfield and help the London side compete for titles, especially after suffering a significant number of injuries within the first team last season.
