A Philadelphia-inspired menu brought a taste of the city to Ghana, while face painters decorated fans with Eagles logos.

As the game began, confetti and balloons filled the air, setting the tone for a memorable night. A DJ and a live marching band provided entertainment, playing a mix of Philadelphia anthems, including Bill Conti’s Gonna Fly Now from Rocky, alongside Ghanaian hits such as KiDi’s Lomo Lomo.
One of the highlights of the evening came when attendees saw themselves featured in the official Super Bowl LIX broadcast, as part of a segment showcasing international viewing parties.
The Philadelphia Eagles became the first NFL team to enter the African market through the league’s Global Markets Program, securing exclusive marketing rights in Ghana. Since 2022, the Eagles Ghana Chapter has been actively promoting the team’s brand and supporting the growth of American and flag football in Ghana. A key aspect of their work involves collaboration with the Ghana American Football Federation (GAFF), which has introduced flag football into school curriculums in Accra and Kumasi, with plans to expand nationwide.

Through tournaments, school partnerships, and community outreach, the Eagles Ghana Chapter continues to foster a new generation of football players and fans. The energy at Pit Stop on Super Bowl night reflected the growing passion for the sport in Ghana.
