A VoePass passenger plane carrying 61 people has crashed in the state of São Paulo in Brazil, with everyone aboard killed.
The twin-engine turboprop was flying from the southern state of Paraná to São Paulo when it came down 80km (50 miles) north-west of the city in the town of Vinhedo.

Emergency services were sent to the scene in Vinhedo. In total, the plane was carrying 57 passengers and four crew, the airline Voepass said.

A crisis office, with representatives from security and rescue forces of the São Paulo government among other state officials, was created to monitor and assist.

State civil defence officers were also deployed at the scene. Authorities have said officials have been able to retrieve the aircraft’s black box recorders.
