Indo-Ghana Industries Limited, manufacturers and suppliers of medical and industrial gases, has been adjudged Brand of the Year in both the Medical Gas Manufacturing and Industrial Gas Company categories.
The company which supplies medical and industrial gases to public and private healthcare institutions, as well as the beverage industry, earned recognition at the 2025 Ghana Corporate Brands Awards for its consistency, innovation, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
The company was selected based on set criteria, including delivery and responding in health care and corporate social responsibility, brand consistency, user innovation, and market impact.
Organisers of the awards said IGIL stood out for its leadership in adopting new technologies, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a strong brand reputation.
Founded in 2010 by Indian entrepreneur and industry technocrat Ravi Tyagi, IGIL has built a reputation in Ghana as a most reliable supply of gases to industries and hospitals. Mr. Tyagi, who has four decades of experience in the global gas sector, said the award validates the company’s investment in Ghana and its long-term strategy.
Speaking to the media after receiving the award, the Managing Director of Indo-Ghana Industries Ltd, Varun Tyagi, thanked the organisers, Movipck Com Ltd, for recognising the company’s contributions to these critical industries in Ghana.
“These awards give us a reflection of the hard work and determination of our entire team and remind us to consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers as stakeholders in both the medical and industrial sectors. This recognition reinforces our commitment and encouragement of our newly high-capacity medical liquid oxygen manufacturing plant in Ghana,” he said.
“As stakeholders, we commend the Government of Ghana for launching the medical oxygen policy, which brought stakeholders together to see how to address challenges affecting the industries, but we also appeal for the implementation of the policy,” he added.
The awards body noted that IGIL had shown measurable impact through its products and corporate social responsibility programs, particularly in community development and environmental responsibility. The company was also credited with strong governance practices and efforts to train and empower its workforce.
IGIL’s operations include the supply of oxygen and other gases critical to healthcare, as well as industrial gases used in manufacturing and beverage production. Its management says the company’s strategy is built on safety and efficiency while ensuring consistent supply chain operations.
The annual Ghana Corporate Brands Awards, highlights firms that have consistently delivered high-quality services, demonstrated leadership, and made positive contributions to society.
This year’s edition placed emphasis on how companies are innovating and adapting to changing market conditions.
IGIL said it sees the recognition as motivation to expand its operations and reinforce its position as one of the most trusted gas suppliers in Ghana.
“Our mission is to provide safe and pure gases while keeping our supply chain running smoothly,” the company said.
