Ghana internationals Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku have been relegated from the Premier League with Leicester City.
Their fate was confirmed after Leicester’s 1-0 defeat at home to leaders Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.
Trent Alexander Arnold’s second half winner confirmed Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side will play in the EFL Champions next season.
The result stretched the foxes losing streak at home this year, with the Leicester still yet to score a home league goal in 2025.
Fatawu Issahaku, who has been missing through an ACL injury he suffered back in November, is experiencing his first taste of relegation, while Jordan Ayew, on the other hand, becomes the first Ghanaian player to suffer relegation from the Premier League on three different occasions.
Kamaldeen Sulemana of Southampton is another Ghanaian who is set to play Championship football next season, after the Saints were relegated a few weeks ago.
