In a Facebook post on Monday, 28 April, Dr Boamah expressed confidence in the President’s commitment to building a strong legacy for Ghana.
Highlighting the week’s scheduled activities, Dr Boamah announced that President Mahama would be launching two major initiatives aimed at empowering Ghana’s youth and small business sector.
“This week, President John Dramani Mahama will launch the following programmes: Adwumawura, which targets 10,000 young business owners, today, Monday, 28th April 2025; and the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) aimed at training tens of thousands of youth in various artisanal skills, on Wednesday, 30th April 2025,” he wrote.
The Adwumawura initiative seeks critical support for young entrepreneurs, helping them expand their businesses and contribute meaningfully to the economy.
Meanwhile, the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) will offer skills development opportunities across various trades, enhancing employability and promoting self-sufficiency among the youth.
