The Member of Parliament for Banda assured that steps are being taken to improve their working conditions.

Speaking on 3FM’s Sunrise on Tuesday, March 18, Mr Ibrahim revealed that discussions are ongoing with the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to facilitate the salary adjustment.

“I have engaged with the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to see how we can increase the salaries of Zoomlion workers,” he stated.

The Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting sanitation workers, ensuring efficient waste management through structured policies.

Additionally, he announced plans to reintroduce the “summon summon” system while implementing reforms within Zoomlion to meet the country’s growing sanitation needs.
