Societe Generale Ghana has awarded 40 lucky customers with prizes including smart TVs, microwaves, smartphones, and blenders at the first mini draw of its ongoing ‘Deposit and Drive Promo’ held in Accra.
The initiative, which was launched in February, is designed to encourage a culture of savings among Ghanaians while offering exciting incentives for participants. Speaking at the event, the bank’s Managing Director, Hakim Ouzzani, emphasized the broader goal behind the promotion.
“Today’s mini draw is more than a celebration of lucky winners,” he said. “It is a reminder of the value of a strong savings culture.”
According to Mr. Ouzzani, the promotion has seen an encouraging response from customers nationwide who have actively increased their deposits to qualify for the draws.
“By saving, our customers are not just positioning themselves to win prizes; they are investing in their futures. And that is the real reward,” he added.
The campaign will feature a second mini draw in the coming weeks, leading up to a grand finale where one customer will drive away in a brand-new Toyota RAV4.
Mr. Ouzzani highlighted Societe Generale’s broader vision of promoting financial resilience and empowerment through savings.

The next mini draw and the much-anticipated grand draw are expected to further drive customer participation as the bank continues its push for a more savings-conscious society.
