Thomas Partey believes Arsenal are well aware of what they need to do to eliminate Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners take a trip to Spain in midweek to face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, looking to wrap up the tie after a great first leg.
Mikel Arteta’s side boasts a three-goal advantage after beating Madrid in the first leg of the quarterfinal tie at the Emirates last week, courtesy of a brace from Declan Rice and another from Mikel Merino.
Ahead of the decider, Partey has cautioned his side in their approach to the game.
“I think we’ve experienced this many times when we play here [at the Emirates], and I think it’s not going to be something different,” he told the club after the league game against Brentford.
“We all know what we have to do. We have to go there with the mentality to win. We want to win every game.”
Partey was on the scoresheet over the weekend as the Gunners played out a 1-1 draw with Brentford.
Arsenal advancing ahead of Madrid to the next stage of the Champions League will see them come up against PSG or Aston Villa in the semifinal.
