Two people, an instructor and student, were airlifted to safety by the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue after surviving a plane crash in the Everglades. The two were airlifted out of the swampy area due to the unstable terrain, according to Lt. Enrique Gonzalez, a flight medic with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. No injuries were reported. It is still unclear what led to the crash, but the National Transportation Safety Board is expected to investigative.
