From 21st to 23rd March 2025, Joy 99.7 FM will embark on an exciting trip with listeners to some of the Volta Region’s most iconic tourist sites.
According to Programmes Manager Edem Knight-Tay, patrons of Joy FM’s Volta Adventure will tour the Kpando Lakeview Zipline, Tafi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village, Mount Gemi, Amedzofe Waterfalls, and the Canopy Walk.
She also noted that tourists will be accommodated for two nights at the Volta Serene Hotel, where they will enjoy a variety of recreational activities, including a borborbor dance session, a movie night, and a nightclub session with DJ Black.
To wrap up the adventure, participants will go on a cruise to Dodi Island, enjoying entertainment on board.

Month-Long Cultural Celebration
Dubbed Ghana Month on Joy, Joy FM will explore the inspiration behind Ghana’s traditional cloths, Adinkra symbols and their meanings, traditional foods, and more throughout March.
On 15th March, Showbiz A-Z will hold a detailed conversation about the Ga culture at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
The month-long celebration will conclude with the Accra High Street Tour on 29th March, as participants walk from Osu Castle to the Light House, visiting historical sites in Accra.
In line with promoting Ghanaian music, Joy FM will play almost 100% local music throughout the month, alongside insightful features on various aspects of Ghana’s culture. There will also be a 30-minute daily programme dubbed Focus on Ghana on Joy 99.7 FM.
